| Glenair's Series 80 "Mighty Mouse"
Offers Mil Spec Performance in a Lightweight, Ultraminiature
package. The Series 80 “Mighty Mouse” Connector is designed for
high-reliability commercial and military interconnect applications
that require both robust environmental performance and reduced size
and weight. The Series 80 “Mighty Mouse” Connector offers virtually
equal performance to MIL-DTL-38999 Series interconnects with up to
71% (weight) and 52% (size) savings for similar contact layouts.
The Series 80 Connector was originally developed as a smaller and lighter alternative to D38999 for the FLIR/Night Vision package on the Apache Longbow Attack Helicopter. The connector has also been selected by General Dynamics/Pemstar as the standard, ultra-miniature connector for the Land Warrior program, and serves in dozens of other safety-critical military, medical, industrial and geo-physical applications. |
