Battery Chargers

Analytic Systems manufactures a wide range of battery chargers that operate from either AC or DC sources recharge virtually any type of battery from 12 to 72 (rail) volts at power levels from 100 to 1500 watts.

All models feature heavy EMI filtering to minimize conducted and radiated emissions, preventing interference with sensitive communications equipment. Other features include no-spark battery connection, reverse battery hookup protection and adjustable float and absorption voltages.

IBC Series

The IBC series chargers are fully Digital Signal Processor controlled and feature Universal Input Voltage from 85 to 265 VAC at 50 or 60 Hz with Active Power Factor Correction for the most efficient use of AC power.

Four charging profiles are available with easy front panel selection to handle most types of batteries from traditional Lead Acid, Sealed Lead Acid and even Lithium Ion.

The free to download ‘Power Wizard’ software allows full programming and selection of each of the four profiles from a laptop computer. 300 and 1000 Watt models for 1 or 2 banks of 12, 24, 28, 32, 36 or 48 Volt batteries.

IBC320MW model available with MIL connectors, extra input and output filtering and sealed to IP66.

 

DC Source Battery Chargers/Equalizers, (Common Negative)

The BCH10 Step Down series of Battery Chargers supply up to 10 amps of charging current at 12, 24, 36 or 48 volts from any higher voltage between 20 and 80 volts DC for use in automotive, heavy equipment, marine, industrial, rail or alternative energy environments. The output voltage is configured to allow permanent connection to the battery.

All surface mount high frequency design offers higher reliability, higher efficiency (more than 91%), more power (up to 544 watts at 48 VDC Out) and minimum size.

The unit has reverse input protection, reverse battery connection protection, and output over-voltage protection and features spark free connection to the battery. Smart Ideal Diode output circuitry prevents any reverse current flowing from the battery back into the converter.

The BCD300 battery charger outputs up to 300 watts to charge a 12V or 24V battery system (1 or 2 banks) from any higher voltage between 20 and 45 volts. The source and the batteries under charge must share a common ground. Multiple stages of filtering reduce radiated or conducted noise to very low levels.

The two stage charging profile charges the batteries at a constant current until the battery voltage reaches the float voltage that the unit is set to and then the current into the batteries will taper off as necessary to maintain the batteries at the float voltage.

The unit can be left permanently connected without fear of overcharge or damage to the batteries. The adjustable float voltage feature allows the unit to be used for any type of lead-acid battery including lead acid and gel cell.
