Our supplier is QPL-approved to build Amphenol, Cinch Connectivity Solutions, and TE Connectivity DEUTSCH versions. BACC connectors are qualified to Boeing specifications to satisfy general-purpose requirements and unique product challenges for shielding, environmental sealing, fluid resistance, and vibration. Additionally, Amphenol’s BACC63 CT/CU meets the specifications for MIL-DTL-38999 and Cinch Connectivity’s BACC45 & BACC63 series are qualified to MIL-DTL-26500 specifications. TE DEUTSCH’s BACC63 CM/CN aerospace connectors are designed for military and commercial aircraft engines and boosters.
Available shells include composite, stainless steel, aluminum, and Quadrax-compatible. Composite shells are best for weight-sensitive applications such as fuel efficiency in aerospace; Quadrax connectors terminate quadraxial Ethernet and Fiber Channel cables designed for high-speed avionics systems, military communications, aircraft data networks, IFE (in-flight entertainment), and space applications. Aluminum-Anodize, electroless nickel/ cadmium over nickel finishes are also available. In addition to the wide range of applications, our BACC connectors feature unique product solutions such as anti-rotation, reduced elastomer barriers for use with newer and older generation wires, shell-to-shell metal bottoming, and solutions for alternate terminations styles/low-profile packaging.
